關於鈴木音樂教學法The Suzuki Method

世界著名並廣泛採用的音樂教學法之一，由日本小提琴家兼教育家鈴木鎮一博士創立，旨在創造類似學習母語的音樂教育環境，教師透過最貼近人類學習本能的模式進行啟蒙，讓學習者自然地愛上音樂，演奏出優美的樂曲。

鈴木博士相信世界上的每一位孩子都能自然又流利地說自己的母語，並把這樣的發現，系統化地運用在音樂教學。鈴木音樂教學法強調從「聆聽」開始，給予學習者沉浸式的音樂世界，其後再培養演奏技巧，教導如何視譜，應用在成人學習樂器時，也有極佳的成效。

Taught by Professional Instructor Sheen, who holds a Master's degree in Music Performance from the University of Houston, this class adopts a refined small-group approach with 3-5 students. Professor Sheen has accumulated over fifteen years of teaching experience in both the United States and Taiwan. Proficient in the Suzuki Method of music education, the class aims to break free from mechanical and tedious practice through systematic instruction. Guiding you to master the techniques of playing the cello, Professor Sheen ensures that you enjoy the process at every moment. Starting with "listening," the class awakens your musical sensitivity. This class will provide you with: Complete teaching materials and audio files, allowing progress even in fragmented time. Solid fundamentals in posture, bow grip, and string playing. You will learn Suzuki Book 1, approximately songs 3-5. Accurate intonation, balanced posture, and a natural bow hold to master key playing skills. The effective maintenance of learning momentum through a small-group format (3-5 students), with the teacher focusing on each learner.

About the Suzuki Method: One of the world's renowned and widely adopted music teaching methods, the Suzuki Method was founded by Dr. Shinichi Suzuki, a Japanese violinist and educator. It aims to create a music education environment similar to learning one's mother tongue. Teachers use a model closest to human learning instincts to initiate learners, allowing them to naturally fall in love with music and play beautiful melodies. Dr. Suzuki believed that every child in the world could naturally and fluently speak their mother tongue. He systematically applied this discovery to music education. The Suzuki Method emphasizes starting from "listening," providing learners with an immersive musical world. Later, it cultivates playing skills and teaches how to read music. It has proven to be highly effective in adult instrument learning as well.
