【Bio】

Sheen Hsin-Yu Chung is a classical musician, crossover musician, music instructor and music business administration specialist. 

​

Ms. Chung began her piano and cello studies at the age of six in her native country of Taiwan where she won numerous competitions. She received high scholarship during her entire study of masters degree under Professor V. Saradjian and earned her Master of Music Performance in Cello at the University of Houston in 2013.  She obtained her bachelor’s degree in music majoring in cello and minor in piano performance from Fu Jen Catholic University in Taiwan, and had training under studio of Professor Chien-An Chen and Dr. Chia-Yi Tseng.

Ms. Chung completed the Associate degree of Music Business from HCC for her versatile professional interests in all aspects of the music industry. She is also a certified Suzuki Music Teacher of the Suzuki American Association, helping her students to prepare for recitals, contests, and ABRSM exams. She has over a decade of teaching and performing career and is active in performing in various venues in Texas and Taiwan.
