Ing Lan Chang earned a master degree in classical flute performance from Shih ChienUniversity.

She was exposed to jazz during her study in college and and began to immerseherself in the jazz world. After finishing her classical music study, she has explored
various genres of music including jazz, Indian music and Brazilian music, and has participated in concerts of jazz, classical, pop, Indian and fusion music. She had
played in TC music festival, Taipei/ Taichung Jazz Festival, Hakka music singer Lo Sirong’s album recordings and live performances, singer Chen Chiu-San’s live
performances and Tokyo Vamos Brazilian music festival, and had played with Indian fusion group “Bulbul Sings”.

Currently, she focuses on Brazilian music, forming the group “Projeto MúsicaBrasileira” to introduce different kinds of Brazilian music to the audiences in Taiwan
and releasing originals and arrangements of Brazilian music in another group “IngLan Chang Jazz Quintet”.

She had taught in various levels/ages of students, including the group lessons of elementary schools, personal private lessons, jazz improvisation lessons, jazz music
theory lessons. She is currently giving Flute/ Piano private lesson in Shihlin and Beitou area.
